Dezső Korniss in
his studio, 1945
We designed a more than 350 pages monograph for the Hungarian National Gallery about the oeuvre of a Hungarian painter Dezső Korniss (1908-1984). The book was published in Hungarian and in English as well. Both publications got a main colour inspired by an artwork by Korniss. The English version (yellow) is based on the painting entitled Robbers I. (1976) while the Hungarian version (red) is based on Robbers II. (1977). Special thanks to József Keresztes-Nagy for retouching the reproductions and for the graphical proofreading, and to the editor of the book Marianna Kolozsváry for the opportunity to be part of this project.
